I have just started getting calls from this number. I never answer an unknown number and advise you do the same. If no message is left, as in this case go ahead and block the caller. I believe that when you answer it validates your number and they then sell it as a live line to telemarketers.

calls and waits for voice mail to pick up then holds the phone without saying anything or leaving a message for 5 minutes.  Calls several times a day every day.  Have no idea who they are or what they want.  But to hold on the phone for 5 minutes without not a word is crazy.

We receive four to five calls a day from this number.  If we answer the call they say nothing.  If the answering machine picks it up, they hang up immediately.
