A quick defrag & empty recycle bin on your computer would do the same thing. Have to mark the above comment as "suspect". Wednesday must be shill day.

Foreign accent calling me in ME telling me I have a problem with my Microsoft computer. Wanting me to drive an hour away to get onto my counter. Quite demanding. I asked her for her phone# and this is what she gave me. 201-285-2011. Asked when I would be calling etc. odd thing is I am having trouble with my computer but I did not initiate this call.

This is most def a scam. I knew someone western unioned the money. When demanded a refund was wanted they wanted MORE money because they could only cut a check for $100 over what they owed them. I have spoke to them SEVERAL times
Some to demand payment, other times to mess with them. I have reported them to FBI: Internet crimes and the TBI. In short do not even have ur internet plugged in if they call.

Fraud call supposed to be from "windows service center", re: how my computer was full of spyware and viruses. Display on phone showed 253-802-0308. When I refused to fall for that phising expedition, provided me a "call back" number of 1201-285-2011 (was supposed to be in USA) but with the 4 digits at the start, I suspect an international fraudster!
