This is just one of MANY bogus numbers used by an 'alternate' power company/supplier/scammer. They've been phone bombing residents throughout NJ (as well as other states) claiming to offer a substantial reduction in your utility costs. They all demand that you have your current utility bill in hand (account number included) so that they can HELP you to reduce your monthly payments. When pressed for more information about their operation and who they are affiliated with (they will NOT provide an actual company name), they hang up.
You attempt to 'remove' your name/number from their system, a new phone number with the same scam crops up next week. VERY aggravating!
