I called the # only moments ago, and got a recording about renewing a subscription to Diabetes Self Management magazine (I don't have diabetes and never received a subscription to this magazine).  

The recording that answers calls gave an 800 number to use for renewals, so I called them to ask that they remove me from the call list.  The call taker was very courteous and said they'd remove me from the list.  She also let me know that it may take 5-7 business days for the removal to go into effect.  Here's the #: 800 932-1082

It's Dial America - they sell magazines/renewals.  The number Linda offered worked.. I was told I'd be taken off the calling list. Yay! thanks, Linda!

Yeah right let us know how that works out for you. You are dealing with crooks. You just confirmed your number. Expect a lot more junk phone calls, because you just got added to a few more "sucker lists".
