SPAM TEXT MESSAGE REC'D from this number:
"Apple is looking for people to Test & Keep the New iPhone5! But only the 1st 1000 users that enter code BETA at http://phone5betas.com will Receive it!"
I received this unwanted, and unsolicited message at 5:14 IN THE FREAKIN MORNING.
The senders of these unwanted texts are nothing but scumbags. Hiding behind a vail of privacy. I will be reporting this number to the respective carrier, demanding they take action. It doesn't seem to do anything to take the time to file a complaint at the FCC's, Do Not Call registry. I am fed up receiving texts from advertisers and having to pay for it. We should ALL demand the same from the phone carriers.
Enough, is enough. Come on AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, Alltel, and all others. Start canning these violators by shutting them down at the first hint of abuse....not after receiving the 100,000th complaint. We should ALL be demanding the same from the phone carriers. We is OUR privacy being respected? Huh?
Put it in the contract that you won't tolerate SPAM in any form. If caught, or when first reported, the number & phone WILL BE shut down. And, they still have to fufill their contract amount in full. Also, they should be barred from being able to seek another carrier as a penalty for said misuse.
