The number called me at work.

I have received a call on my cell from this number twice and each time they say they are a subsidiary of verizon, but then there is no one there.

Yes! Me too!!! It's a little creepy cause they don't even say they are from Verizon...they just sit on the other line and listen to me say hello a few times then they hang up.

It's a company working for Verizon FIOS.  They want me to return TV set top boxes since I switched to cable.

I had a voice mail asking me to return hardware as well. Strange part is I never had Verizon services and hardware
