Got a call about receiving a grant.  Called back and said to stay by phone and someone would call me right away.  Called back again and got answering machine,called again and someone answered and said they would check on it and just hung up without getting any info.


Called again and they said this was not a scam. That is was true the I had received a Govenrment Grant of $50,000 to do with as I pleased.

So you better watch out.

A male called name Joyce Nelson claimed to be with the Government Grants Department and had a thick East Indian accent. He stated I was approved for $50K grant. Grant Dept will send $40,250 western union after I pay $250 upfront and $10K will be loaded on a prepaid credit card. I asked for western union control number he called western union (probably one of his friend) who verify that the money is there and stated western union processing fee is $1800. I hung up got a call from 800-432-1000 Amber calling to notify me that there is a wire transfer pending in the amount $10K but the $250 processing fee has to be paid first. I hung up and now my phone is ring off the hook. This is a SCAM.
