I called the number after they called me and hung up before I could grab the phone. There is now a law which requires telemarketers to place an opt out choice if you call their number. Not in this case.

These people call themselves Rescon Energy. The choices you get on your expected opt out message are only choices regarding their services with selections pertinent to your account with them.

They are telemarketers currently breaking the new opt out law.

I got harassed by one of these [***] at my home recently. Thanks for the posts ... Rescon Energy it is. And just a heads up my dad did one of these switches to another energy broker and his electric bill doubled.

I got a call several times a day, almost everyday at all different hours of the day and night from rescon energy. The guy told me to get my bill so i can start saving money. When I told him I wasn't home he got pissed off and told me that he will wait and where was i that i could not get my bill. He said have a good one paying higher pseg rates then. I was nice to him the whole time and even told him I would call as soon as I got home and he insisted he would call back and why was there a problem. This guy is a psychopath be careful you will get treated like chopped liver. Thanks to him I won't even bother calling ResCONS.

Getting multiple phone calls from 201-215-2123. Pick it up, no one is there. Once when a live person answered they wanted my eletric company account number to start lowering by bills. You have to make them your source. I know a scam when I hear one, even though I am 65 years young. Told them to stop calling that there was a no call on this phone. They still keep calling once a week or so.
