They just called me and told me they needed to speak with me about my visa/mastercard...Only problem is I dont have a credit card...

did not reconize the number. Did not pick it up.

they called my cell at 3:45 PM PDT on 4/1/10-a pre-recorded womans voice, congratulations you have been selected for new lower rates on your credit card.  Please press 1 to be connected to an account manager, 2 to decline this offer.  In the past when I have pressed 1 for similar calls and asked to be taken off their call list, I am always hung up on quickly.  No name or company is ever ID'd in these annoying solicitations.  This is the northern NJ area code.

How frustrating!
I get called from this number several times per week.
The FTC website says to report it to your cell phone carrier.
I called AT&T to report it and they informed me that for $4.99 per month I can pay to block up to 15 phone numbers from calling but there is no database for phishing calls.
I am on the National Do Not Call list so these calls are illegal but no one seems to care.
Grrrrr.

I got a call from that number, they did  not leave a message, when I tried to call it back there was a recording that said my call cold not be completed.
