Being called by this number 3 times in 3 days (around the same time of the day too). I didn't pick up at all, wondering if the New York Times sold my number as it's recently after I subscribed to them :/

Person calls multiple times, same time everyday.

They call and hang up because they want to know if it is a real # and someone has that #. so they hang up.

They called me once talking about a newspaper offer and asking my zip code and city. DON'T GIVE THEM IT!!!

the second call they made sure I had the same #

Received Feb 21, 2008 at 9:39 AM PST. Unsolicited, no mssg left just "missed call".

I was called by "Florida Times-Union" and was offered a special subscription package.  A few hours later I was called and they have been calling every day to every other day since.  They keep trying to get me to pay for my subscription over the phone.  I'm really glad that I never did.  They were trying to give me a free $10 Gate(gas station) Card for paying over the phone.  I REALLY hope that no one falls for this and actually gives their CC info. away.
