You did EXACTLY what you should NOT do.  They are phishing for valid, working phone numbers to add to their Spam List.  You will now be getting 100's more Spam calls from all kinds of different Spam numbers.

SCAMMERS phishing for working phone numbers.  Don't answer and DO NOT CALL BACK !   That will put you on this spam list as a working phone number to spam
